kiwanis for kidsKiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. The Saint John Kiwanis Club was chartered on Dec, 1926 and has been helping kids and their families in the greater Saint John community and the world for 88 years. We meet on Tuesday for lunch at noon at Howard Johnson's Fort Howe Hotel, Main Street in Saint John. Check the Meetings Page for more information.

Kiwanis, through guidance and example, works to develop future generations of leaders. Every day, Kiwanians are revitalizing neighborhoods, organizing youth-sports programs, tutoring, building playgrounds, and performing countless other projects to help children and communities.

Starting on Saturday, December 5, the club provided a gift wrapping station at the McAllister Mall.  Service runs through December 24.  We need volunteers to help us.  Please click on link below and add your name as a volunteer.  All monies from this project go to help the children of the community.

Big Day in the Old North End
by DavidFleming on 2014/07/19 7:41 PM

Today was our Community Clean-up, and what a gorgeous day it was!  Before we started the clean-up efforts, our MLA, The Honourable Trevor Holder, was on hand to present a check for $50 000 to the Kiwanis Play Park project, which we plan to have built across the street from the Nick Nicolle Community Centre.  Pictured here on the location of the new play park from left to right are Linda Jarvis from the Kiwanis Club of Saint John, Scott Crawford President of the Board of Directors for ONE Change, The Honourable Trevor Holder, and John Knight from RiverCross.

Donate to Save Unborn Children

Our club in conjunction with Kiwanis International is Raising $110 million dollars to eliminate maternal/neonatal tetanus in developing countries around the world. For a donation of $25.00 over 25 mothers and their unborn children can be saved from the terrible agonizing death by tetanus.  This is because the government of Canada is currently matching dollar for dollar all monies donated to our club for this project.  Please give as much as you can to help!
